USG Insurance Services, Inc. was built from the ground up by some of the top executives
in the insurance industry who decided that it was time for a new approach to insurance.
It set out to be a competitor in the excess and surplus lines marketplace and to become
the provider of choice industry wide for solutions to risk management's challenges.
USG's overwhelming success has contributed to its exponential growth. It is
reaching into new territories, creating satellite offices nationwide and taking
the necessary steps to expand into other businesses to solve problems for risk
management professionals world wide.
USG Insurance Services, Inc. was incorporated in December of 2000 and activated
on January 1, 2001. Gerald Horton, President/CEO, and Susan Horton, Vice
President, are the majority shareholders, directing the company from the
corporate headquarters in Tampa, Fla.
