USG Insurance Services, Inc., a prominent national wholesaler and MGA, is pleased to announce the addition of Andy Phillips to the team as a Producer/Broker in the Canonsburg, PA office. Andy brings more than eight years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting, brokerage, and business development, specializing in complex commercial property and casualty risks within the excess and surplus (E&S) market.
Throughout his career, Andy has developed extensive experience underwriting and placing complex commercial risks across property, casualty, and specialty lines. His background includes managing large property accounts, negotiating coverage solutions, and developing strong relationships with retail agents, wholesale brokers, and carrier partners. He has also demonstrated success in driving premium growth, managing complex middle-market placements, and supporting business development across multiple industries.
In his role, Andy will work closely with agents and carrier partners to identify coverage solutions, navigate market opportunities, and support new and renewal business. His underwriting expertise, market knowledge, and experience handling complex commercial risks will further strengthen USG's ability to deliver specialized coverage solutions to its partners nationwide.
This move is the most recent change that USG has implemented in its plan to continue expanding its operations nationally as a leading wholesale brokerage firm.
