USG Announces Hire of Gerard Prast in Its Massachusetts Office

USG Insurance Services, Inc., a prominent national wholesaler and MGA, is pleased to announce the addition of Gerard Prast to the team as a Producer/Broker in the Massachusetts office. Gerard brings more than four decades of experience in wholesale insurance, excess and surplus lines, underwriting, brokerage, business development, and leadership. 

Throughout his career, Gerard has held senior leadership and underwriting roles with a strong focus on binding authority underwriting, property brokerage, risk assessment, market development, and agency and carrier relationships. His experience also includes negotiating carrier contracts, developing new business opportunities, managing brokerage operations, and mentoring insurance professionals. 

In his role, Gerard will work closely with agents and carrier partners to identify coverage solutions, develop new business opportunities, support property and other commercial placements. His extensive industry experience, market knowledge, and longstanding relationships will further strengthen USG’s ability to serve its partners nationwide. 

This move is the most recent change that USG has implemented in its plan to continue expanding its operations nationally as a leading wholesale brokerage firm.
