USG Announces Retirement of CTO Gregg Gualtieri and Hire of Dan Ringer in Canonsburg, PA
USG Insurance Services, Inc., a prominent national wholesaler and MGA, is honoring Gregg Gualtieri as he prepares to retire at the end of December 2025. Gregg joined USG in June 2003 as a Senior Programmer Analyst and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2006. During his 22+ years with the company, Gregg pioneered USG’s proprietary software systems, built a robust IT department and infrastructure, and mentored entry-level and junior staff, helping shape the next generation of technology leaders. His leadership and contributions have been instrumental to USG’s success.
Following Gregg’s retirement, USG is pleased to announce the addition of Dan Ringer to their Canonsburg, Pennsylvania office. Dan joins the team as Chief Technology Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience leading enterprise technology transformations, building high-performing teams, and delivering secure, scalable infrastructure across energy, industrial, and regulated sectors.
In his role, Dan will oversee USG’s technology strategy, IT operations, cloud and infrastructure platforms, and cybersecurity initiatives. His expertise in vendor governance, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration will help unify technology leadership across the organization, driving innovation and operational excellence.
Dan brings a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps, enterprise platform management, and secure infrastructure for regulated environments, making him a valuable addition to the USG team.
This move is the most recent change that USG has implemented in its plan to continue expanding its operations nationally as a leading wholesaler brokerage firm.
