USG Insurance Services Announces Jennifer Kessel Named to Insurance Business America 2026 Elite Women List

(USG) is proud to announce that Jennifer Kessel, Chief Operations Officer, has been recognized as one of the 2026 Elite Women in Insurance by InsuranceBusiness America. The annual award honors outstanding women who are making a significant impact on the insurance industry through leadership, innovation, and dedication to advancing the profession.
Jennifer’s journey with USG reflects both her commitment to the organization and her passion for the insurance industry. She first joined USG as an unpaid intern in 2010, later returning in 2013 within an entry-level marketing role. Over the years, she has risen through the organization to become a member of USG’s Executive Management Team. In her current role as Chief Operations Officer, Jennifer oversees development, operations, marketing, and strategic growth initiatives across the company.
In addition to her professional leadership, Jennifer is widely recognized for her dedication to mentoring the next generation of insurance professionals and advancing diversity within the industry. She currently serves as a mentor for RISE Professional Association and participates in several initiatives through Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA), including the WSIA DEI Internship Committee and mentorship programs supporting diverse emerging talent.
Jennifer’s industry involvement also includes previously serving as President of the WSIA U40 Board and as a Director on the WSIA Board. She plays an active role in industry leadership and education, including previously serving as Chair of the Insurance Day event for the Insurance Club of Pittsburgh. Through these efforts, she has supported fundraising initiatives for the WSIA Diversity Foundation and championed opportunities for young professionals and women entering the insurance field. Beyond the industry, Jennifer is deeply committed to community service, volunteering with the many children’s and elderly charitable initiatives in the Pittsburgh area.
